Linda Warren Seely attended Memphis State University and in 1978 she received a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude. She proceeded on to attend the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis State University and in 1981 received the Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

Ms. Seely has focused the majority of her 29 years of practice in association with the Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. and West Tennessee Legal Services, Inc. She is currently the Director of Pro Bono Projects at the Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. and co-owner of Divorce, Incorporated with her husband, Carl Seely.

Ms. Seely is a member of Memphis Bar Association, Association of Women Attorneys in Memphis, Conflict Resolution Center of West Tennessee, Tennessee Bar Association Access to Justice Committee, Memphis Bar Association Access to Justice Committee and Madison County Bar Association. She is a rule 31 Listed Family Mediator, certified by Tennessee Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission (2001) and special designation in Domestic Violence (2007).

She has served on the Board of Directors for Association of Women Attorneys in Memphis, Conflict Resolution Center of West Tennessee (also Founder), Tennessee Association for Justice, Madison County Bar Association, Memphis Area YWCA and Hannah’s Hope (an affiliate of the United Methodist church, Memphis Conference).

Ms. Seely has received numerous awards for her activities and has presented to various associations in regard to mediations, juvenile matters, pro bono projects and human rights.
