The Importance of Compassion and Authenticity in Our Work as Mediators

Guest presenter Daniel Griffith, author of Everyday Mediator: Seven Practices for Navigating Conflict, will share practical ideas and recommendations for resolving conflict.

During the Study Group hour, he will focus on:

• The essential ingredients of compassion and authenticity in our role as mediators

• Practical skills applicable to any mediation situation or style by which mediators demonstrate compassion and authenticity

• The need to establish connection with parties without violating neutrality

This session is approved for one hour of CME, ethics, or general education credit. Upon completion, ADRI will email participants certification of attendance. Participants are responsible for self-reporting attendance to the AOC.
