TOPIC: “Thinking Like A (Human) Mediator: How Will AI Change The Practice Of Mediation?”
Guest Presenter: Larry Bridgesmith

Based upon the interest in AI discussions during our last Study Group, I have asked Larry Bridgesmith (who many of you know is an expert in this area – bio attached) to share with us his thoughts on AI. Larry will share with us his insight and experience on how it has or may impact our practice and he will share his favorite AI platforms for mediators.

ABA Ethics Opinion 518

In addition, there are numerous articles sharing their interpretation of the ABA’s Opinion on lawyer- mediators, including as we discussed in the last Study Group how it will affect professionals other than lawyers. I will provide an update with examples of prohibited conduct. Thanks.
